Midnight Oil guitarist Jim Moginie plays the Mellotron on Cemetery. Moginie who provided the connection between silverchair and Jane Scarpantoni, which led to her doing the arrangements. Jane picked the four musicians who worked with her.

everyone knows daniel had a dog named sweep.. but where did sweep get her name? sweep's name comes from the british kids show, "The Sooty Show." there is a dog on the show named sweep who only squeaks. when daniel first got sweep, she couldn't bark and only made a squeaking noise.
steve albini and ian mckaye are huge inspirations of his. daniel has a guitar signed by steve albini.
The acoustic that Daniel used for Cemetery in the June 1996 recording sessions in Sydney is a 1950s-era Gibson which belongs to Rob Hirst, drummer for Midnight Oil.
